211 Labs

Where Sarä is built, by people who believe in one mission

211 Labs is the tech department of PeopleWorks, and the lab where Sarä is built. Here is who we are, what we are building toward, and how it works under the hood.

Like-minded people, one mission

211 Labs is where we gather people who are passionate about the 211 mission: eliminating HR and operations as two departments and combining them into one AI Workforce Department. Read the vision.

Doing the job is not enough

Our benchmark is an AI that completes a whole job role, correctly, with the customer satisfied. Anything less is a demo.

Most AI stops hereA task is done

Draft this. Summarise that. Useful, but nobody signs off a business on it.

Still not enoughA job role is done

Every duty in the JD, completed. Impressive. But done is not the same as done right.

Our benchmarkDone correctly, and the customer is satisfied

The role is completed to spec, every time, and the people it serves come back. Only then do we call it finished.

How we got here

Eight years of solving our own people problems, one tool at a time.

2018

The wrong people, and no tools

Running restaurants, we kept hiring the wrong people. There were no hiring tools for SMEs. So we tried personality test after personality test, until we found the combination that actually worked.

2022

Offered to peers, on spreadsheets

Other owners wanted what we had. We started serving them with the hardest tools of all: spreadsheets and app scripts.

2023

First apps, vibe coded

We built our first apps on Glide to extend the features, fast and cheap.

2024 to 2025

Automation and AI agents

We moved to n8n for automation and started building AI agents, focused on automating our own business process management platform: 26 processes we run every day as an outsourcing company.

2026

Full stack, agentic

We built our own platform on an ERP with an agentic framework, so agentic business process management could also behave like an agentic AI. This is the hardest part: to work across every channel, an AI needs access to the browser, the desktop, the apps and the messages, all at once.

Now

Level with the leading labs

Today we extend Sarä's capability at the same pace as the best labs in the world, with one difference: every capability is tested on real jobs, for real clients, every day.

The questions below explain how it works today, in plain English.

How Sarä works

Do I need a job description to start?

No. Tell Sarä the role you cannot fill, or the problem that is slowing you down. She writes the JD, then breaks it into duties. If you already have a JD, paste it and she starts from there.

How does Sarä decide what she can and cannot do?

She goes through the JD duty by duty and checks three things: what the finished result should look like, which of your systems it needs, and whether any step needs a real person, a signature or a judgement call. Those steps go to your staff. Everything else she plans and does.

What does the plan look like?

A board. Each duty is a card. Blue cards are Sarä's, gold cards belong to your people. You can see what is to do, what Sarä is running right now, what is waiting for someone, and what is done.

Where does the work turn into an SOP?

Every duty Sarä completes is written as a checklist with the exact steps and the checkpoints where a person reviewed or approved. Run it twice and it becomes your company SOP. Sarä then follows that SOP every time, and updates it when your process changes.

Doing the work

Can Sarä use websites the way a person does?

Yes. She opens a real browser, logs in to your portals, fills forms, downloads reports and uploads documents. This is how she posts jobs on JobStreet, LinkedIn and Indeed, pulls reports from HerdHR, and works any web system that has no API.

Can I watch her while she does it?

Always. Every job opens a live panel showing the screen she is on and the step she is doing. When she hits a login or something that needs approval, she stops, asks, and continues once you answer. She never works in the dark.

What happens with difficult or unusual websites?

Sarä has two ways of working a site. For ordinary sites she runs from the cloud. For fussy job portals and systems that behave differently on every visit, Sarä Desktop, a small app on your own computer, does the work using your own browser and logins. You choose where each job runs.

Which everyday tools does she work with?

Google Sheets, Google Drive, Gmail, WhatsApp, HerdHR and most Malaysian job portals out of the box. Behind the scenes she connects to hundreds of business apps, so if your company uses a tool, there is a good chance Sarä can drive it.

Can she produce documents, spreadsheets and reports?

Yes. Excel financial models, offer letters from your template, monthly reports, candidate shortlists with reasons, payroll files. Documents that need a signature go through e-signing, with LHDN stamping where required.

Can Sarä run recruitment end to end?

This is where she started. She posts the role, sources candidates, screens CVs against the JD, ranks a shortlist, schedules interviews, sends WhatsApp reminders, runs recorded video interviews and issues the offer letter. Your recruiter approves the shortlist and holds the client relationship.

Learning your company

How does Sarä learn how we do things?

Four ways, and you pick per task. Ajar: you explain it. Bacakan: you hand her your SOP or a past example and she reads it. Tunjuk: you show her once by doing it while she watches. Biar cuba: you let her try, then correct her. Whichever you choose, the result is saved as a skill she keeps.

Can she copy the way we already produce things?

Yes. Give her one good example of your output, a report, a proposal, a monthly deck, and she works out the steps to reproduce it. Next month she asks a few questions and produces the same thing.

Does she remember from one month to the next?

Yes. Sarä keeps a memory of your company: the skills she has learned, the SOPs she follows, the checkpoints your people want, and what went wrong before. She also notices repeated patterns in how your team works and proposes checklists for them.

Can one Sarä handle several roles?

Yes. Give her five JDs and she runs five roles, each on its own board, each with its own SOPs. Larger companies give each team or each person their own Sarä, all visible from one place.

Control and trust

Who is responsible when something is sensitive?

You are, by design. Anything that goes out in your company's name, to a client, a bank, a candidate or LHDN, sits behind a checkpoint where a named person approves. Sarä prepares, a person releases.

What about mistakes?

Because every job follows a checklist, a mistake shows up as a failed step, not a silent error buried in a spreadsheet. Sarä flags it, stops, and asks. Because the checklist is the SOP, the fix is made once and applies to every future run.

Where does our data go?

Your client portal data, logins and documents are never shared with or routed through third-party AI vendors' back ends. Sarä runs on servers in Singapore, and anything that touches your portals can be kept on your own machine through Sarä Desktop.

Can she work with our people, not just for us?

Yes. Sarä appears on the same board as your staff. She hands cards to people and takes cards back. Two Sarä roles, for example finance and HR, can pass work between each other and raise a query to a human only when they are stuck.

Under the hood, for the curious

What is Sarä built on?

A business platform (Frappe) that holds your company data, boards, SOPs and permissions, with an agent engine on top. The agent plans each duty into steps, runs the steps, tracks progress against the plan and records the result as a checklist.

Which AI model does she use?

Whichever fits the job. Sarä routes each task to the best available model through a model gateway, so you are never locked to one vendor, and we can switch as better or cheaper models appear without changing anything on your side.

How does the browser part actually work?

Three layers. For sites Sarä has run before, she replays the exact requests, which is fastest and most reliable. For new or ordinary sites, a command by command browser driver with a strict list of allowed actions. For the hardest cases, a full autonomous browser agent that looks at the screen. She escalates only when a step is blocked.

What is Sarä Desktop?

A small app for Windows and Mac. It gives Sarä a computer of her own inside your office: your browser and logins for job portals, your files, your printer, your local software. Jobs that need it run there; everything else runs in the cloud. Voice input is built in.

How do you charge?

By top-up credits, plus the work Sarä actually does: the AI tokens she uses, the API calls she makes and the browser time she spends. No salary, no EPF, no notice period. Heavier months cost more, quiet months cost less.
